Jen Lemieux is the developer and owner of Sports Stars for Kids. In 2000 she received her B. S. degree in Exercise Physiology from Rivier College. Jen has a Physical Education Teaching Certificate in the state of Massachusetts. After graduating, Jen took the director's position at My Gym Children's Fitness Center in Salem, New Hampshire. It was here that her love for children and fitness could be seen by hundreds that watched and participated in her unique and energetic way of teaching.

After 5 years of growth and experience at My Gym, she realized her true passion for making children healthy while building coordination in the field of sports. With the increasing numbers of childhood obesity and the cuts to our school systems' physical education programs, there had to be an alternative. In 2005, Jen developed Sports Stars for Kids, a weekly program which is taught right in the classroom. With her wide-range of knowledge in the field, she has made sports and fitness more tangible to children. With her enthusiasm for sports and her love of children, this program is sure to enhance any child's school experiences.
